The activity in this area will start with an e-commerce program that wants to help businesses, from the accommodation and restaurant subsectors, improve their Internet presence and online marketing capabilities.

The proposed program takes into account the different development levels within the tourism companies in the field of e-commerce, the need to establish successive steps to reach the final objective and the importance of the employers involvement in the process.

Characteristics of the program:

• The program is composed of 5 sequential modules, of which initially the first three are available.


• The businesses will initially only be able to access one of the 3 modules on offer, the access will depend on their actual position and their preferences. Once the registration form is completed the Centre personnel will help them to determine the module which is most suitable to the business.


• The solutions contained in each module will be implemented by professionals of the highest calibre, also the proper tools will be provided to the business people so that they can continue to advance for themselves.


• To participate in the program it is necessary to comply with the minimum administrative  requirements which are determined by the the Ministry for Tourism, Trade and Sport. They also need to comply with some basic technical criteria which ensures that the service can be given. For the companies that do not comply with the established technical requirements they will be offered training tools, so that they can form part of the program in the successive stages. • To ensure the active participation of the businesses, they must pay a deposit of 200€. The deposit will be returned when the consultation process is complete.
