Requirements for the E-Commerce Consultancy

The following are the requirements necessary to access the consultancy module of the Consulting Lab:

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS (all of the modules):

REQUIREMENTS for Module 1 (Construction and modification of web pages):

1. Have a domain name and a contracted hosting server with a service provider and have the access details for both. These details must be provided to the consultant during the provision of services.
2. Have the content, which they wish to place on the website, in suitable formats (photos and videos with sufficient quality, banners, etc.).
3. The company must have a systems administrator responsible for the maintenance of the domain and the aforementioned hosting.

REQUIREMENTS for Module 2 (Visibility and web positioning):

1. The company must have an operational web portal
2. The company must have a systems administrator with access to the domain and the hosting server for the portal.
3. Contact person able to articulate/inform about promotions and offers in the establishment.
4. The company must have the staff resources available to dedicate time to the tasks that come about as a result of the consultancy.

REQUIREMENTS for Module 3 (Web 2.0 strategy and CRM):

1. The company must have a database of clients, categorized and in a digital format to give to the consultant during the consultancy process.
2. The company must have an operational web portal.
3. The company must have a systems administrator with access to the domain and the hosting server for the portal.
4. The company's web hosting provider must have the necessary services available to be able to carryout promotional activities.
5. The company's web hosting provider must support the execution of web applications, at the very least being able to support PHP and MySQL database server with capacity to maintain a database.
6. The company must commit to comply with the current Protection of Personal Data Law.
